MAGENTA: Not Just a Color. The Memory of Your Light

Not every abstract painting is meant to be looked at...

The world has become loud.
Full of images that show us something,
but less and less often… move something within us.
We scroll, we pause for a moment,
sometimes we are even in awe -
and right after… we forget.
And yet, there are paintings
that do not want to be looked at.
They want to be… felt.
The ones that do not scream with color,
but open a space
where something inside you grows quiet…
and returns to itself.
Magenta appeared to me not as a choice.
It came as a presence.
As something that connects the earthly
with the unseen.
Like a warmth that does not burn,
but transforms.
It is not just a color.
It is a passage.
Gentle, yet true.
In this series, I did not seek form.
Nor did I seek an effect.
I allowed what is unspoken
to find its way onto the canvas.
So that what is within -
could move… and remain.
Perhaps that is why these paintings are not for everyone.
But perhaps that is also why…
they find those who are ready to pause.
Not to understand something.
But to feel something.
If you are here,
it may not be by accident.
Perhaps something in you already knows
that there is a space
where nothing is required.
And that sometimes…
one color
is enough to return to it.
Magenta.
Not as a color.
As the memory of the light within you.
I am not calling you.
I simply am.
I leave a colorful trace…
so that something within you may find its way.
